Dance in some form has always been part of my life starting at age 3 until I started having girls of my own. When my girls began dancing, I looked for a studio that was similar to the creative dance program at Brigham Young University which I had started at as a young girl. I found a program in our city and soon became the dance mom, dance teacher, stage hand to stage manager and book keeper. I was very involved and worked closely with the director of the dance studio until we moved to Texas. When I heard that Natalie and Chris were opening a studio with the same family values and dance ethics I believe in, I wanted to be involved. I love working with the staff at Interval Performing Arts. It is a welcoming, safe place for people of all abilities and interests to come, learn, and grow.

Hey everyone! My name is Beth and I have been dancing since I was 3 years old. I received training from Dance Xpressions and Contemporary Ballet Dallas. I’ve studied many styles including contemporary, modern, tap, ballet, pointe, acro and pom. With Dance Xpressions I had the opportunity to go to many competitions and conventions such as showstoppers and dupree. This is where I found my love for teaching dance as I started assisting class at a young age. I also danced with my high school drill team and got to be an officer to help lead our team, as well as choreograph for football season and competition. During my first year of college I had the pleasure of dancing with the Blinn College treasures dance team, where I received a national title in the team performance division. This is when I started choreographing solos for girls to take to competitions. The next three years of college I spent studying dance education and nursing at Texas Tech. While here I set up my own master classes, choreographed solos, got opportunities to study under some amazing dancers and choreographers, and was able to dance with two extracurricular teams; dancers with soul and healing in the arts. I am now a certified EMT, who loves to teach dance! I am so honored and excited to be able to help shape young dancers and hopefully help them share my passion for dance here at interval performing arts!

I have been very active in group fitness for the last 8 years and have fallen in love with Cardio Fuse. Fuse is a blend of kickboxing, aerobics, core and resistance training with a mini loop band. It is choreographed to music to motivate you to push through the cardio, abs and burner tracks. Everyone leaves sweaty and happy. I am thrilled to bring Cardio Fuse to interval performing arts and be a part of this great community.

Hello, my name is Courtney Thompson, and I am a dedicated vocal and piano teacher and a professional musician. My journey in music has been a dynamic blend of passion, intuition, and the unwavering belief in the transformative power of music. I warmly welcome students of all ages and levels to embark on a musical adventure with me.
As a highly-sensitive empathic musician, my vibrant zeal for life infuses every note I play and every song I sing. I consider it my life's purpose to foster empowerment and self-acceptance through the magic of music. Whether you're a beginner taking your first steps or a seasoned musician seeking new heights, I'm here to guide you.
My teaching philosophy revolves around the beautiful connection between music and self. I believe in living with integrity and aligning my words, thoughts, and actions. Light, love, and positivity are the driving forces behind my musical journey, and I aim to share this positivity with all my students.
My holistic approach to music education empowers each student to discover their unique passion and joy within musical expression. My extensive background in various fields, including business and technology, has equipped me with a keen understanding of systems and patterns, which I apply to the art of teaching music.
With a history of teaching both vocal and piano lessons, I've witnessed real-time growth in each of my students. My journey began in music at an early age, leading me to classical training in voice and piano. Through collegiate education and years of performing in various genres, I've honed my skills and am currently recording my first original album.
Since the age of 15, I've been nurturing budding musicians, igniting their passion for music. My experience extends to sound engineering, creating binaural beats, and exploring the therapeutic aspects of music. I'm skilled in various software and hardware systems, ensuring a seamless and enriching learning experience.
In addition to my musical teaching and performance journey, I enjoy reading, painting, dancing, yoga, and learning new things. I am particularly enjoying my latest endeavor where I get to create soundscapes that heal and soothe; implementing binaural beats with technology that plays the sound vibrations of the water molecules in plants.
My mission is to help you discover your unique musical voice, and I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to guide you on this incredible journey. Let's explore the world of music together, embracing the joy, empowerment, and acceptance it brings.
I look forward to helping you unleash your musical potential.
